Pet Bereavement Service
The loss of a loyal and beloved family pet can be as devastating and as distressing as losing a human loved one or family member. The bond between a pet and its owner or owners can be extremely strong, and that pet is more often seen as family. Moreover, the loss can be even more painful if the pet is all the family that the bereaved owner has.
Consequently, the impact of grief’s symptomatology (the full range of feelings and emotions) and its effects are no different whether the loss is human or animal. Grief is a unique experience, and each bereaved owner will grieve in a way and at a pace that is right for them.
It may well be that talking about the death of a beloved pet, trying to make some sense of it, and reminiscing about this best friend, can be extremely helpful as the bereaved owner embarks on their grief journey and healing process. In this context, I can offer two types of support service:
Pet Grief Listening & Guidance Service
Informal listening and support service (over a cup of tea or coffee), and available on an as-and-when required basis.
Specialist Pet Grief Counselling Service
A series of respectful and compassionate counselling sessions (initially, up to six in number).
Whether it’s the Listening or Counselling Service, I regard this bereavement most seriously, and my support services are underpinned by my core values of
Respect, Compassion, Kindness, Empathy ,Patience, and Humility.

Pet Legacy Project
Helping bereaved owners create a craft-based legacy, through which they can remember, reminisce and start to heal.
Pet Funeral & Memorial Service
As an independent funeral celebrant, I offer unique and bespoke funeral & memorial services for those pet owners who want to mark the death of their beloved friend in a meaningful way.
